Ward was born in MonroeLouisiana on 14 April1976. Monroe Christian School is a exclusively Christian private school for children of all ages. She went to Ouachita High School to pursue her secondary studies. She then transferred from there to River Oaks High School after the summer. After graduatingshe briefly went to Northeast Louisiana University. Ward was 13 when she began modeling after she left the school. After graduation, she relocated into New York to pursue this career. A few years afterward she decided to take up acting. In the 1970s, Ward had a small part that was not credited in the soap opera daytime All My Children. Then she landed a short-lived role on NBC's primetime teen-drama Malibu Shores. Then, in late 1996Ward was offered a part in the daytime soap opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the sexually virginal Meg Cummings. The year 1999 saw Ward begin her acting career in films as Brittany Foster, the psychotic Brittany Foster of the erotic drama The In Crowd. The film was not a huge movie in theaters, but did well on home video and cable. Ward appeared on screen in Shallow Hal in the year after, where she played a supportive role. The other roles she has played include a variety of direct-to-DVD movies and guest roles in TV shows, including Friends. In the ABC Family drama series Make It or Break It's main cast for its first two seasons Chloe Kmet played the mother of a young gymnast in the 2009 season. For her personal life, she is married to David C. Robinson. They have a son named Cameron.
